Cambridge, the city of knowledge

For my second adventure I've traveled to the great city of Cambridge.

Cambridge is an old but beautiful city filled with elegant sandstone buildings and definetely one of my favorite cities ever. Plus the river Cam that runs through the city makes Cambridge a perfect place for punting and spending time, especially during summer.

Furthermore, Cambridge has some of the worlds most finest universities which was one of the main reasons I had to visit this city. Particularly the University of Cambridge which has given root to many of the United Kingdom’s famous people. Such as: Stephen Hawking, Emma Thompson or David Cameron, just to name a few. Being a student in any of these universities is considered a great honour.

Cambridge is located in north of London and the journey to this marvelous city took me about 5 hours, partly, because of the traffic. I think I'll be staying here slightly longer than on my other journeys.
